Lawn Bowling - A sport for everyone

We were founded back in 1926 with the mission to be a place where anyone can come, make new friends and enjoy the fantastic game of Lawn Bowls. Our small club is open to all and supports Cawdor and the surrounding area.

We have recently embarked on a journey to reinvent ourselves to make Lawn Bowls more relevant to todays busy world. We would like to ask you to be part of this journey.

If you have never played bowls before, you don't know what you are missing! Come and join us!

We are located next to the Cawdor Tavern at the heart of the village.

What do I require to play?

To play, all you require is a pair of flat soled shoes, as the club will provide all the other equipment to allow you to take up the fantastic sport of bowls. It’s a sport that can be played at all levels and each provides elements of competitiveness and social interaction. If you’ve never tried Bowls, it’s time to come and give it a try! .

We are at the heart of the community

Throughout the playing season (April through to the end of September) there is an extensive program of events and competitions which everyone can participate, no matter what level of experience you have attained.

How to Join us

We offer full membership for an annual fee of £50. This allows unlimited access to the facilities. All members can sign up for free coaching sessions. These are tailored to your experience and abilities.
